Finals is always better option Because your not playing everyone twice i- it keeps all teams in with a chance Well done HF - great outcome

Hi All,
Apologies I haven’t logged onto the forum For a while.
Re masters games - great initiative however it’s not something we would be able to assist with. We simply have no control over fields and salvaging our own competitions are the priority.
Re 12 games - it’s written in the announcement on our website. We have to hand the fields back on the 20th Sept. We can squeeze a few more games (just enough for some finals) on the very few fields that aren’t used by summer sports. As much as we would love for all teams to play 14 rounds, they simply won’t fit. For those finals series games, we have no choice to play when we can, so be prepared for some non traditional time slots!
Hope this clears it up.
Kurt

Not that I care whether more rounds or finals, but just out of curiosity how does that comment match the collaboration announcement? Having finals does as the agreement mentions incrementally reducing the number of fields used to aid recovery, more just a question on the dates you specified? Our councils ignoring the desired guidelines? footballnsw.com.au/2020/06/11/codes-collaborate-for-community-sports-agreement/

Council require a maintenance period prior to switching back over to summer sports.

NEWS UPDATE
Kurt Johnson has decided to step down from his role at Hills Football. He will step down from his position as at Friday, 14th August.
I will not say too much more on the topic, (so as not to preempt anything that Kurt may wish to say on the forum at a later time), other than to thank him for all his efforts & congratulate him on a job well done & to wish him all the best for the future. I am sure Hills Football will be poorer for his leaving. Good Luck Kurt.

I was waiting for when the moderators were going to censor that crap. The same sort of garbage is on some clubs Facebook pages - gee I wonder which clubs?

All the best Kurt! Premier league, especially, will definitely miss you as you tried your all to make the hills premier league a feature product of the association! I just hope someone picks up those reigns as there is great momentum currently with the “streamed games” initiative and match of the round
Thanks and all the best mate 👌🏽
