Chuck,
Doubt the season will go ahead. ScoMo announced a bunch of measures this morning that will be in place indefinitely. He said to expect a minimum of 6 months.
The question for Kurt is will regos be refunded if/when the season is cancelled?

The 6 month thing will be for large crowds at professional games potentially. I think we will go ahead in April - but keeping those measures in place of no large crowds and just relevant people at games - players/coaches/club staff etc
Lets hope for a quick outcome but safety as we all want.

Blues, i think watching Netflix is all we'll be doing this winter, Stranger Things is good, and just started watching Lost In Space, which is also good. Let me know if you come across anything worth watching

The question for Kurt is will regos be refunded if/when the season is cancelled? How can you expect anyone to answer the question today or in near future. Comp is only temporarily suspended and hypothetical questions are not of any value at the moment. The rego fees are split across Clubs, Hills Football, Football NSW etc. If the season is cancelled, the approach will come down from a level above Hills Football and flow down to clubs. I would never expect 100% of fees to be re-funded for act of god situation like we are facing now. The association and clubs have ongoing costs and if you want to have a competition in 2021 they will likely need to retain some, majority or all of the fees.

This message from Kurt at HFI cuts across a number of threads but I thought this would be the best place to post this message. It should answer a lot of forum members questions.
Dear Clubs,
I thank you all for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
A quick high level update on where we are at with this seasons competition as confirmed by our board last night. This plan is based on the assumption we are ok to resume football activities on the 15th April. Subject to change if prompted by the relevant authorities.
Winter Competition 2020
The season will kick off on the weekend of the 1st May 2020. We will schedule 15 rounds, with a 3 week finals series for all competition age groups All teams who do NOT make finals will play a further 2 games during the finals series. Premier League will play 18 rounds with 3 of those being mid week. We will schedule 17 rounds for all non competitive age groups. Grading will stay as is. It will be luck/unluck of the draw as to which teams you play once or twice. Finals will be scheduled on the: SF = 14th, 15th & 16th Aug PF = 22nd, 23rd & 24th Aug GF = 28, 29th & 30th Aug We have already made contact with council in regards to extending our season. Should council grant us an extension, we will increase the weeks of the regular season and push the finals back (x) weeks in line with any extension granted.
Our aim is to provide each team as close as we can to 18 rounds of football, as that’s what they have paid for. Aside from the health and wellbeing of the community, our football priority is for people to play matches to salvage what we can of this season.
Hills Football Cups
We have cancelled the running of the 2020 Hills Football cups for both Men & Women. Reason being, we must ensure we have enough field availability and space to play the high possibility of large amounts of catchups for the winter competition.
COVID – 19 Task Force
The board has put together a task force / working group to guide us and our member clubs through this period. Its aimed at assisting all with essential documentation, guidelines, communication and collateral for members to use. More information to be shared on this in due time.
In the mean time, we will have the draw finalised and we will work on completion of the player eligibility guidelines as we presented in draft form last Monday night.
I will endeavour to keep you all informed with any updates as quick as I possibly can.
Please reach out if you have any concerns
Thanks
Kurt

Hi All, Apologies I haven’t been on here for a while. Been a little busy ;-) Firstly, Chuck. You have some outlandish and ludicrous claims. I’d recommend you think before you make any further comments that you have zero proof on. Secondly, COVID-19. Hopefully this link will provide all the answers to questions you may have. At this stage, many remain unanswered as we simply don’t know, but I assure everyone we are trying hard along with FNSW to address. It’s a terrible situation we are all in. Let’s stay safe and lookout for one another. hillsfootball.com.au/season-2020-update/I thank our members clubs for being supportive over the past few days. It’s amazing to see our community banding together. Thanks all Kurt

It wasn’t an act of God, He has nothing to do with it. It was an act of poor hygiene and reckless behaviour that followed.

Meanwhile, IMO the best thing you can do is be kind to all and watch out for your neighbour. We are all in this together. The mods will simply remove any comments that go against this. Go rant elsewhere about anything else except football.

Hi Kurt, Are you aware that the Castle Hill United team that finished 4th in 45/1s last year has been graded in 45/2s this year? If yes - why? If no - is anything going to be done about it? cheers SloMo i don't think you are going to get any sort of adequate response / reply on this forum, you need to raise this issue through your club. Association wont deal with players individually, only via the clubs. Wheres the abuse here All I expected was a valid answer to SloMo's question. Instead its given a wide sidetrack. Not answering - and instead now kurt - you're throwing the glove back at me as being an accuser with no valid reasoning. SloMo and I and others would like to know the answer ??

Chuck. Your burst of answers across this and other threads is troubling. Together they paint a picture. Just because someone does not answer the question to your satisfaction does not mean there is a conspiracy. It means you’ve asked the wrong question that cannot be answered, or asked the wrong person, or asked the wrong way. The world is not aligned against you. Further accusations will result in restrictions. It is abuse. That’s the second warning. Happy to discuss, respectfully.

Seems that simply requesting someone answer SloMo's question - makes me an abuser ? Your quote "does not answer the question to your satisfaction ??" They did not answer the question at all, no reply. And you claim "no conspiracy" ? How is that not for you to prove ? So backing up someone else's questioning is interpreted as 'abuse' ? Not one abusive word in this entire conversation. Restricting my comments based on the above sounds like you are just adding to the cover-up. Lets just bury chuck, cause he's we cannot tell him what is really going on. Or we would be silent. Otherwise "straight from the horses mouth" is just another phony account, acting as if they are across knowing what is going on, when they should be taken with a grain of salt ?

Nowhere did I say that asking for an answer to a question means you are abusing someone. Therefore the rest of your point invalid. I said further accusations, meaning claims of corruption and conspiracy, are abuse. You could says ‘Hills got this wrong or that wrong, or I don’t like how they’ve done this or that.....’ all you like. blahblah pointed out you won’t get an answer here about an individual situation and you need to go through your club. You’ve ignored that and start making accusations instead. No more please. Be civil or be gone.. Writing that a mod is ‘adding to the cover up’ is dramatic........... nonsense.

Hi Kurt Good news on lifting temp suspension of football (training only)
What’s happening now regarding season start and finish etc
Infection numbers are trending downwards so do you have a optimistic outlook about the 2020 season actually happening here
Cheers
