Hearing strong whispers that Kolts have pulled out of blended comp as it was only a six team comp, and their main priority is to strengthen the Hills comp. CHU will follow suit and I expect that Winsto will be having a team meeting at the pub later this evening to discuss their options. Looks like we might have three divisions of 9 in the Hills very shortly. They may as well nominate for Div 2 like all the other top teams ;-)

When teams are stacked like those at KV, lopsided scores will force other lower ranking teams to just forfeit instead. Truth is, they didn't win the comp for a year so they came back to where they can. May as well just give Kolts the trophys now. Why wait?

Ye maybe - but this will be the strongest division in years Apart from castle Hill and Winsto there are plenty of decent Div 2 teams Ram, knights and Rangers will be no push overs - all three can be a banana skin for Kolts - so that 6 strong teams Throw in Spirit and Glenhaven and suddenly there are no easy games
Injuries and availability can really test squad strength But agree on paper Kolts have this in the bay

Looks like the divisions won’t be finalised for a while? Not sure what is is with over 45’s, the allocation of teams into divisions and the resulting draw is always problematic, it should be finalised by the first weekend in April.More drama to come!

I’m hearing 45s will remain with 4 divisions
1s - 6 teams 2s - 7 3s - 6 4s - 8

Why not have 7 divisions with 4 teams so every team makes semis and receives a participation trophy. Appears to be a repeat of the Granville model and their reluctance to have 10 team comps. I would have thought 3 x 9 team divisions with a bye (acceptable at this age group) would be ideal and allow for proper relegation and promotion, IMHO.

Travel was just the polite excuse. Alot of us got sick of playing against dickheads. Not all teams in the granville comp were dickheads, some were good. Come to think of it, the good ones also moved to hills😀😀 💯

Spoke to a guy today who said he spoke to Matt Rippon about this yesterday and apparently Matt said definitely 4 divisions and 1s will be a merged comp with NWSF

Kolts won't be overly happy but I am sure that after some tough games they will forget the whole thing.

Just saw the Hills draw, what a joke that the association has 27 teams and no official division 1 comp of their own, what a bunch of sooks. Embarrassing to say the least.

What’s the issue? Div 1 six decent teams will be a competitive comp. Most likely Div 2 also. Most would prefer this.

The issue is 3 local teams have been forced to merge with another Association just so that preference is given to division 2 teams to play in the mediocrity championship comp and can sing Kumbaya after each match.
I suspect Div 2 top 4 will probably get promoted next year into the Hills div 1 comp when it will more than likely resume based on my mail. Best to come 5th this year then. Good luck all 😃
