So do we just ring around and organise our own games for round 1 or is there any fear a draw might come out anytime soon?

Same thing every year, not sure why the panic always on when its released.
If you're committed to playing you already know you're committing yourself on the Saturday (or Friday whatever) and the rough time,
Yes yes organising multiple games / kids etc requires planning but I don't see why its always such a frenzy to be whipped into (for some - not specifically saying you guys are frenzied)

Normally there is a regrade after Rd4 so I cannot see any games being put up for Rd5 until after Rd4 is played.

Any predictions on this weekend fixtures? Whole round postponed or they’ll play the ones they can based on field status?
Probably the latter based on lessons learnt from last season.

Looking at the BOM website, very little rain, if any, is forecast from now. Should be looking at playing on all fields, as tomorrow is meant to be 25 degrees. Grounds should dry out reasonably quickly. Definitely should be looking to play all afternoon games at least.

Blacktown council website says fields are open this weekend www.blacktown.nsw.gov.au/HomeDecision must have been made by the association. Not a very popular one judging by their Facebook page

Blacktown council has all grounds open, but BDSFA in their infinite wisdom postponed games to the free weekend on the long weekend in June. Probably because some clubs have claimed their grounds are too wet. Would have been better to play what could be played, and other games postponed (this way more referee coverage if round split, and minimizes issues if there are further weekends with wet weather cancellations). Let's see what Hills does, I think the more games played the better as you don't know what the future holds (and fewer mid week or double header catch ups is preferred). So grounds like Bernie Mullane should play just to reduce the backlog if nothing else.
