Yep, theres no point demanding the season should be scrapped or fees refunded until they figure out if the season will continue in some form or not, so if you are desperate for your money just ask for a refund now
If you can wait, then just wait and see what happens and if the season doesnt happen and they screw you over for $300 then jump up and down
Whats the harm in just waiting and seeing what happens? Some people like getting wound up just for the sake of getting wound up

This is the current situation for all grassroots winter sports at present, (not withstanding any further unfavourable developments), according to the NSWRL:
The NSW Health Order restricts prevents sports from being played until at least June 29.
"Accordingly, the earliest possible return date is 30 June 2020, unless the NSW Government decides to lift the Public Health order earlier," Trodden said in a statement issued by the NSWRL.
"Most winter sports favour working towards a return date of 18 July 2020, at the end of the next school holiday period, with a return to training on 1 July 2020, subject to the status of the public health in the interim.
So it appears that the earliest likely start to the season would be the 18th July. This would give about a six week period before the usual commencement of the Finals in late August or early September. Would this be enough time for any serious competition to run ?

Oracle, as per my previous post if we start first week in July that could give us as much as 10-12 weeks. This would be plenty in my eyes and possible further favourable developments.

Maybe we should be having talks with cricket to let us have September. Start on Friday July 10 & finish Sunday September 27, no finals. That's 12 rounds.

Anyone else seen the 17 page document sent by FNSW dated the 15th April? It’s 2.2MB in size so I can’t upload on here but PM me and I’m happy to email it to you.

You would think there would be some compromise across the board which will need council arbitration. Extend the football season and shorten the cricket season so each get equal opportunity although I've been around long enough to know that cricket seems to get a better deal for some reason.

From the Daily Telegraph. Quote Community sport and small gatherings are among the activities being considered for relaxed restrictions in three weeks.
Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy said he did not want to pre-empt health experts’ deliberations but hinted some smaller gatherings may soon be allowed.
“Things like community sport, some retail measures, all of those things will be in the mix,” he said.
Unquote. Make of it what you will.

I reckon it is fair to say we all want the same thing. To play our wonderful game as soon as the government and health authorities say it is safe to do so.
