Hook line and sinker ;-) I’m the main culprit of not knowing anything but love stirring the pot with with you funny blokes. Ok I’ll be honest. I have no idea about anything to do with the girls sap or GCL. All I know is that from the surface it all seems fine. They get to play and train at an amazing facility. What more could you ask for. What I don’t like is constant bagging of any group that is doing their best to achieve what we are all here for. That is football. This is the Hills Board. FNSW board and FFA Board. Ok, you might not agree with their decisions, and you may think they are just some muppets. I don’t agree with everything they decide to do, but I have no doubt they make what they believe is the best decision with the information at hand, or the information that you or I aren’t privy to. No, I’m not on the HFI board. However I have sat on a NFP board previously and understand what it’s like on the other side. This is the exact reason why our great game is in the position it’s currently in. When the group in charge makes a decision that they believe is right, the rest of the population below kicks, screams and moans because they personally don’t agree with it. Glass half full attitude. Mr Dreamgoal and sweetleftfoot and others, you have 2 choices: 1) go with what ever they decide and help build our game Or 2) just keep battling against, keep talking down and keep fighting. I’ll revert back to this in a years time and we will see where we are at with it all. Bandit out I stopped reading at “I know nothing” but thanks for your long winded reply!!

I guess it proves how little we all know on here. Or think we know! At least with an Association run program there’s a guarantee the poor kids fees aren’t feeding has been / no one first grade players Attachments:

What is the pathway for the current group of GSAP and GCL players ? If you believe the rumours - the pathway will be NPL2 next year - not CL. No need for an AAL comp then - the three teams can be the 1st & Res grade!

Most play AAL because they don’t want to commit to the next level.

Just making them aware of a possible future option if they weren't being suitably challenged!

In my humble opinion the association should follow what it's members wanted and that was for the association to focus on developing and growing the grass roots competition and leave Rep Football to the experts who have been managing rep football in the Hills since the mid 80's.

Firstly, I think there are maybe 3-5 players per div 1 team who would be capable of playing reserve grade in PL2, maybe 1 or 2 could play firsts. Currently there are Hills girls travelling quite far to play PL2 (Nepean, Marconi, Gladesville, Southern Districts). i think many of them would love to come "home". A nearby PL2 team would be an attractive option for some of the div 1 girls (especially given the frustration of the current situation).
I think the current partnership with Hills United is much better than HFI taking over. I doubt that scenario is close to a reality. Hills United has a good setup and certainly the boys currently get more focus but that largely reflects the difference in the level played by boys and girls at HU.

I can't find anything on the website. It was a FB post where they show cases the HUFC GCL 15’s and then made a statement about looking out for posts about the 2020 representative football.

I'm missing something... how does that imply HFI are going it alone?

I'm missing something... how does that imply HFI are going it alone? HILLS REPRESENTATIVE FOOTBALL AUGUST 15, 2019 The U15 girls GCL squad are looking to end their season on a high with a win against the top of the table team Football South Coast this Sunday at Bella Vista Public School. The squad has had a great second half to the season with a big turn around in results due to the hard work from head coach Allen Cetinic and Assistant Coach Amanda Millgate. All of Hills Football GSAP and GCL sides will be in action for the last weekend of Football. Get down to support the girls in what has been a great season with lots of hard work and dedication from all coaches, players and volunteers involved U10s/U11s 8:30am U12s 9:30am U13s 10:30am U14s 12:00pm U15s 1:25pm U17s 3:00pm Keep and eye out on the website for upcoming details and trial information for next years representative program

I do remember them advertising both boys and girls trials last year. Isn’t that a good thing?
