Went down to watch Winsto vs Rouse Hill Rams/Sydney NW/Toongabbie. Rams had a good 2-1 win in reserve grade against a very different looking Bears outfit. They appear to have lost their captain and star player who played at the back.
First grade was a physical encounter that ended 1-1. Winsto with several golden chances including a pair from the spot but just wasn’t their day. Having a man sent off in the first half didn’t help things.
Special shoutout to the classless behavior of the Rams reserves players for a verbal barrage on a senior Winston Hills club official. “F*** off and die quietly” which was laughed at by his mates and closely followed by “I’ll put this old c*** in the ground myself”
You can paint stripes on a horse, it’s not going to make it a zebra.

Kenthurst with a double over Kellyville. 3-0 ressies, 4-2 firsts. First grade was a lot tighter than the score suggests with the kolts missing a few decent opportunities.
Does anyone have the scores from Baulko glenhaven? Did they get done by a cricket score again?!?!?!?!

Well well well... the rainbow kid is back and by golly, I am Excited to watch some football this year....
Went down to the delightful Ted H reserve, where the lovely folk from Baulko reside ..... and well I was served up a tasty affair... Baulko ressies losing to those pesky Kolts 1-0 with a 85th minute penalty thanks to the Baulko keeper swatting flies ..... in first grade the hapless Baulko copped a shalacking, going down 4-1 to the current champs ... it was so bad the Kolts 48 year old captain even managed to get on the scoresheet ..:
Anyway ....what other results happened? I heard glen haven was caused an upset

Heard some fights took place down at Kenhurst vs Winsto... seems the only part where no fight was shown was in the actual game as Kenhurst thrashed a hapless Winsto ... anyone care to enlighten us

Typical bushboys scaring the 5’1 hills ref. Probably should have ended the game with 8 players. Nonetheless ended with 11 and taking their chances. Winsto with enough chances to take a point but the bushboys more clinical.

Does anyone know what happened to the rams boys? Last seen alive at Hills Centenary, I bet they’ll h8 hearing about this result for for the next few days.
Also, interesting spread of teams holding the top 4 positions after the first 7 rounds of competition, any predictions/thoughts for the next 7?

Sorry but I have to say, I went up to watch kenthurst play Kellyville today... And the referee performance was an absaloute joke. CB for Kenthurst double footed and scissored a bloke above the knees and if the poor kid wasn't trying to jump out of the way, would have had both his legs snapped in 2. No foul given at all as he 'played at the ball' not to mention the exact same tackle against a winsto player by the exact same defender also not given a foul by the same ref. Kenthurst should have been down to 10 and then old battler comes flying in, again double foot studs showing and gets away with it because of the incompetency of the referee. Not too much long kenthurst winger trips up and picks up the ball during his fall, ref gives them a free kick when no Kellyville players are around which they scored from. Just after this a kellyville defender with an easy tackle tapping the ball away which the ref called a foul giving kenthurst a ridiculous penalty. Old battler putting it into the carpark made it a fair trade in the end. Then kenthurst sticker kicks the Kellyville keeper in the head, on purpose which concussed the poor bloke which the referee saw, letting him walk away with no foul and no card.
Kellyville got done 3-2 but they didn't deserve that. A disgraceful performance by both kenthurst and the ref who is surely in their payroll.
This league takes so much pride and talks about how important refereeing is, and then gives you performances like that.

Good game of football. Some of the refs decision were not understood. He is supposed to be one of HFA best.

Dear Mr Gilbert, wow that's some lengthy match report, albeit glaringly bias. I also saw the match and how the ref gave excseeive time for 'on field' physio treatment of 3 Kolts players, and that was when they were leading... funny how the two things correlate. Coincidence or ?

Coincidence or ? Could the amount of "on field"physio treatment have something to do with Kolts players being taken out? The kolts players are far from perfect but Kenthurst players seem to get away with murder. It is not a sole occasion that this happens. Week in week out you hear about how players are being taken out. Will it only end when someone has their leg broken? Player safety should be first and foremost.

Can confirm soots!.. physio treatment was a direct result of the tackles dished out by the bushboys.
I do believe the bushboys sideline banter and tackles come from The same rubbish bin.

To tpop's comment above - when will HFI pull Kenthurst in for their rubbish sideline antics? The head-in-the-sand stance is beyond GDSFA-esque, and needs to be addressed. Only the third PL game I have made this year so not sure if other games have required a 4th official? Clearly the refs acknowledge it, over to you HFI!
