It's amazing how North West Association can have an O/55 comp with 18 teams over 2 divisions Saturday afternoon 90 minutes. We at the Hills have about the same number of players and can't have an O/55 comp. Could be worse mate. The geniuses that run Granville had just 11 Over 45's teams last year. So what do they do for 2024 ? Introduce Over 55's. So this year there's a grand total of 6 Over 45's teams, and 5 Over 55's. Absolute facepalm...

I can't see the problem with that, actually playing players more your age seem a good idea. If Hills had made it turn 55 in the year and 3 x 53 we would have had 8 teams and O/45 would have had 20 teams. Saturday afternoon and 80 minute games, just what the players wanted.

LOL ! It's not Hills though. That was kind of my point. They (Hills) have the strength and numbers to make 55's viable - and for some strange reason they don't do it.
Granville doesn't have the numbers, and yet they go ahead and introduce 55's. There's now literally only 6 teams in the whole 45's comp for Granville.

This thread is full of complaints…
Have any of you cranky blokes had a crack at HFI? Or just resorting to bitching in a forum?
Maybe band together and go to their AGM and cause a rukus
