I played on field 4 at Ted horwood in round 1 and it was horrendous, so I have no doubt that Baulko probably made the right decision. Krusty times have changed champ. We aren’t going to play on wet fields anymore it’s just the way it is

Instead of being grateful to be playing you find something to complain about.

Krusty...you are one very cranky clown. Obviously bobo thought that the field was horrendous, which gives minimal playing enjoyment & maximum potential for serious injury. I am sure if he had suffered a season ending injury he would have been extremely upset. It's hard to toughen up when you are on crutches. If serious injuries occur because dangerous fields remain open then there is often an outcry about persons neglecting their responsibilities.

Yet all over Europe Canada North America my extended family & their kids tell me they play in rain, snow & sleet. We are just so soft in every way. The type of precipitation is irrelevant it is the actual condition of the grounds that are important. The grounds during and after snow in northern Europe & America are absolute slop and mud. You obviously have no clue of how underwhelming their conditions are compared to ours. They would swap ours any day and claim the grounds are prefectly soft. Not even close to what they consider unplayable. I'm telling them what's going on here & they see us just SO soft in every way, not the fields.

Clover your last comments have been deleted as they are offensive, distasteful & abusive. They have nothing whatsoever to do with this topic. Refrain from further occurrences or you will be spending time on the sidelines.

Clover I suggest you read the Forum Rules. If you do not like complying with the rules then you do not need to take any further part in future discussions. You obviously don't know what the truth is & you obviously don't know how to conduct yourself in a civil manner. Your post will be deleted & you will spend a week on the sidelines. This will give you time to read the Forum Rules & hopefully learn how to conduct yourself accordingly.

Have heard from Council that Saturday could be washout. Well Krusty.....you've heard it straight from the rainman himself. With a name like that he must be an expert.

BoM rain forecast: Saturday 0mm Sunday 40% chance of 1mm Hopefully HFA use their influence over the council to keep grounds open at clubs discretion for the weekend. Some fields have far better drainage than others and games on those could still go ahead.
