Norwest 4-0 over Rangers. Norwest up 1-0 about half way through the first half. Stayed that way until about 15 mins into the second hand. Both teams moved the ball around well with Norwest having most of the territory, but Rangers defending well. Was 2-0 with 5 mins to go, before Norwest slotted 2 goals, 1st one was probably off-side, second wasn't however I believe with the new rules with one of our blokes being offside but not being in the play it should still count as an offside.
Rangers got a penalty in the last minute, even though our bloke cleared the ball & accidentally in his follow through hit the Ranger bloke in the knee. Rangers sent the ball flying over the post with his shot. Rangers are a really good bunch of blokes, enjoyed a beer after. The game was played in the right spirit with a few refreshing ales after.

Is anyone from the Hills Knights team on the forum at all?
Norwest want to try and schedule the catch up game from Round 1 but would prefer a mid week game (double headers just don't work for us old folk)!!
Cheers

Norwest 3 v Glenhaven 1. A fantastic game played in great spirits. We didn't have a ref and even tough it was our (Norwest) home game, Glenhaven supplied the ref and he did an outstanding job. Glenhaven started with the bare XI and had 1 sub rock up later, whilst we had the luxury of 4 subs & they were missing all their men up front. It was an even game for most of the match with both teams moving the ball around well on a very uneven pitch. Glenhaven had a lot of chances in the first 35, but couldn't find the back of the net. We got a good goal in the very last minute of play in the first half. The second half was another even tussle & the biggest thing to get us home was the big bench with Glenhaven running out of legs, but still not giving up.
Glenhaven are a grat group of guys & played the game how it should be. Massive thankyou to their ref, who was fair throughout the whole game.

What happened Hey? Two big wins to start the season and then a draw against the bottom of the table Baulko Blue? Apparently our opponents have been short for their first 2 games which makes sense because they were better than us yesterday and probably deserved the win. They got a new player who is the quickest I've seen in 35d and has skill to match his pace. Our first half was the worst in a couple of years.

North Rocks Red 2, Winsto 0. A couple early goals to Rocks were the difference, with the second half a close but scoreless tussle. Don't think Winsto will prop up the bottom of the ladder for too long if that performance is any thing to go by. Certainly plenty of wins in them.
