Hopefully there will be 18 teams or more & have 3 divisions of 6, this will be a lot better for evening out the grading & stop whingeing & forfeits not wanting to play teams that are to good.

Have heard you need at least 8 teams in each division so gonna need 24 teams for that request?
Hopefully it happens so Skullfade can win a medal in Div 3 😘

Any chance of 45s being a Friday night comp? Lot of guys running around after kids on Sat.

Groin
I don't disagree with your query or desire for Friday night matches however these decisions should be discussed and made by the association well in advance before registrations open in my opinion so everyone is clearly informed.
I personally much prefer the standard 3:00pm Saturday kick off and would have no hope of making Friday night matches because of work commitments and reckon many others would be in the same position.
Just my two Bobs!

Friday night games loose their appeal for a beer after the game like a 3 O'clock does, I'd prefer 5pm Sat than every Friday night, happy for the odd one.

Baulko this year are going to try something we have not done for 20 years - grading in a seniors div. We will be grading for a 45 div 1 side & try to convince players to leave O35 teams they are in to upgrade to the 45's. The two 45's from last year should have there best players go into the div 1 side & add players from O35's to the side so it can compete against the 2 villains. The remaining players from the two 45's will go into div 2, a 3rd 45's will be a mainly O/60 side in div 3. This is why 3 divisions of 6 teams would be better for a much more even competition.

The CHU 45/1 Blue team from 2019 are going round again. Had a great season last year with a good bunch of lads and finished 4th and enjoyed the beers after each match.
Looking for a few more players including a goal keeper to complete the squad.
Anyone interested and looking for a team in 2020 can send their interest to seniors@castlehillfootball.com.au

Heard on the grapevine a rule was passed that each division must have a minimum of 8 teams?

I've been advised we are not doing grading for an O45 div 1, it was only an opinion of a couple of people of what should happen.

Baulkokid would you consider a very ordinary early 50s player for your O60s team?

Baulkokid would you consider a very ordinary early 50s player for your O60s team? At present we have 17, 12 over 60 & 5 over 55, as the two O45 teams from last year have combined to make a div 1 team, I will be taking some of the remaining players. I have to look after our club players first, if you are see you Wednesday 7:30 field 4. Oh you did play minimum NSL or better EPL? then of cause you can play.

Baulkokid. FYI. I was one of the players that was going to be in your 3rd O45s team at the start of 2017 and the team folded at the last second before the competition started due to numbers. Your comment about NSL and EPL is exactly what all teams are like. They all say they play for fun, but when it comes to the crunch, they are all "win at all costs" and if you aren't up to scratch no one wants to know you. A bit disappointing really. Very difficult to get a game if you aren't a star player.
