I saw a score of 20-0 from round 1 and this is in a comp with only 6 teams.
Not a great situation for either team.

That is a huge difference. It appears the female participation rates are down on last season as well.

Is this division in even more trouble? They only have 4 teams left and 1 of them (CHU), have forfeited last weekend and this weekend. Anyone know what's happened to them?

AAL has become a joke! Self interest and a lack of spine at the top has made this comp a farce!

Have heard from numerous people that all four teams are already planning for next season and will NOT be back at Hills.
A four team comp is a joke! Sorry that would imply it is funny - NOT

You are right though they they will be lost to the Hills UNLESS Hills combines with Granville/Blacktown or Gladesville/Hornsby (NWWSFA has just merged with GH).

AAL has become a joke! Self interest and a lack of spine at the top has made this comp a farce! Hardly a surprise but was always going to be a problem when Hills refused to join with GDSFA girls (who them merged with Blacktown) at the very start. Comments such as 'we dont care about the girls at this stage' and 'we will not be merging any comps with anyone, especially Granville' from a Hills board member at the time, even when presented with data and told this would happen, in a joint meeting with GDSFA and FNSW at the FNSW Head Office were always going to lead to this. A further refusal one year later to the same request led to the same attitude and response so as i said hardly a surprise and only themselves to blame.

How come a Hills AA1 team is in a NWSWFA comp when numbers are down here

I believe that there is an email circulating relating to a review with a survey due soon, a Female Football Standing Committee created and a Town Hall planned.
Wait and see

very simple learn something from our past. Granville did it in 2009 with the O35s when there was 2 extremely good teams...you should have put all the teams in 1 division, this way each teams will play the better side once and who knows they lesser teams might go away after the game saying wow they are a great team but thank god we don't have to play them again.

they have been there since day 1 as they are just to good for any team in the hills If they had stayed and being too good was always going to be the case, they may have split that team for the future of a AAL1 competition. The NWSWFA AA1 ladies only has 6 teams anyway and one is Winston Hills. They by the looks of it have their own share of problems with numbers.
