Heard from numerous people that another Director has recently resigned. That would be four in about six months.

Can someone tell me When is the next AGM? I am returning from another association in 2019 and am considering running. I think it's August? How many new directors are they looking for next season? Why did the current one resign? No doubt will blame work commitments or something similar but word is the pressue of 2.2 was a factor.

Heard today there was no meeting last night between clubs and Association. Reasoning given was there was not enough clubs in attendance for a quorum. Looking at the constitution on the website there is a requirement for 60% of clubs to be in attendance meaning 12 or possibly 13 clubs should have been there.

You are correct that the ACM last night was cancelled due to insufficient numbers for a quorum. The director who stood down, (sounds so much better than resigned), was Joe Mirigliani who cited work commitments as the reason. No need for any further conspiracy theories here. These things happen so time to move on. Joe should be thanked for his efforts in furthering the development of the Hills Association since its inception.

Love them or hate them, cudos to anyone for putting their hand up for this tough job. You’re in a lose lose situation!

"Has he nominated for the vacancy of the Board already?"
Yes, but he did not meet the criteria.

Apparently there were 14 clubs at the last meeting and some people thought there was a requirement for 75% of members to attend and required for a quorum.
I would have thought the clubs would have known the rules.

I would have thought the clubs would have known the rules. I would question the commitment of clubs that didn’t have a representative in attendance. I don’t believe there is any excuse at all that clubs can offer for failing to send along somebody.
