OK Peeps
What are the predictions for R3.
Baulkham Hills Red v Castle Hill Utd Winston Hills v Glenhaven Norwest v Rouse Hill Rams Baulkham Hills Blue v Kellyville Utd
------
Baulko Red too strong for the Castle Hill retirement village 3 - 1
Winsto to keep their perfect record in tack will draw with Glenhaven 2 - 2
Game of the round will be Norwest v Rams. A tough affair with the Rams taking the money 2 - 1
Baulko Blue will find it tough against Kellyville. I hear that they(Blue) are struggling a bit and only drew against Norwest in the last few minutes last week. If the Ville show up this week they will get the points 2 - 0

What's with all of the early kick offs this year? Surely it must impact those with tin lids playing making kick offs.
Baulkham Hills Red v Castle Hill Utd
4-1 Baulko - CH will defend resolutely on the postage stamp but eventually the cracks will open up.
Winston Hills v Glenhaven
2 -1 Winsto - Normally play Romulus better than opposition, big task for Glenhaven first go here up with the big boys.
Norwest v Rouse Hill Rams
0 - 0 Will both teams get full lineup here for the early kick off? Norwest finally get a day game which should help the eyesight. Expect a dour affair and scoreless draw.
Baulkham Hills Blue v Kellyville Utd
Safest bet is a 3 - 0 Baulko win will KU show, will they have a full starting lineup, they do enjoy belting Baulko though so maybe they do show in numbers. Still as posted originally what are the current odds for them to finish the year?

Baulko Red 2 CHU 2
As shown on Foxtel it was a very rough affair with 2 Red cards shown (1 each team). CHU went up by 2 goals before BRed got into their groove. The CHU Retirement village went into the vault (Anglicare Retirement Farm) and got plenty of reserves ... they had a whole bench of players waiting to sub. While the BRed team only had one sub (apparently one of their players was called upon to coach the Sydney FC team - but that might be just a rumour).
BRed came back with 2 Penalties to tie the game.
Overall a strong shown by both teams.
BBlue 6 Ville 0
This game could have gone into double digits if it was not for the Ville keeper. Penalty save, strong performance by him. BBlue knocked the ball around and showed why they should be the comp favourites. Some sloppy kicks from Ville gifted the BBlue team possession and ultimately goals. The Ref had a hand in one or two of the goals but overall a clinical performance by the comp favourites.

BBlue 6 Ville 0 .... The Ref had a hand in one or two of the goals but overall a clinical performance by the comp favourites. If Baulko can afford fox sports coverage down at Ted de Francais, then surely they can pay for a VAR set up too??

Sweetleftfoot ... The footage that I get is very poor quality... I guess that it is 2 guys running up and down the field with a Betamax recorder (better quality than VHS) to show case the Hills to the rest of the world via Fox. If VAR was introduced it will slow the game down even further from the snail pace that it is already ... However it might give some of the players a chance to catch their breath ...

Given some of the VAR farces we've seen in the a league this year, 2 guys with Betamax would be an improvement!

The Fox Betamax Boys were back and this time made the trip to Glenhaven on a cold, windy and raining Friday night to watch the mighty Glenhaven team battle the current leaders BRed. After trying to get the proper Channel on Fox #960 I had to resort at dusting off the BetaMax from storage and watching the game with a scotch, cigar and the log fire burning.
With the weather giving an advantage to the Glenhaven Rich Farmers and the locality meaning that they were able to field a team of what seemed like 35 player (but on paper was only 15) while the BRed team turned up with the bare minimum but with plenty fight. 15 min in and BRed were down a man as the sniper struck and one of their men went down. Playing for 65 minutes with only 10 men against a full strength team of farmers was going to be a hard task to complete.
Some great work by both teams, some shocking keeping by the BRed keeper followed by a Penalty save to redeem himself was his highlight. There was a BRed goal from their European import (I think that he once played for Motherwell in the Scottish Prem League) that was from 20 out and was top shelf. It was then equally matched by a shot from the Glenhaven import (I hear that he played for the Newcastle Jets but has since left).
2 - 2 with 5 min to go and the sniper struck the BRed team again, while their man was down the Farmers took the advantage and played on to score a victory. --- Hence the rain has come to save the farm....
Ended 3 - 2 to Glenhaven ... Good game boys and a pleasure to watch... now back to the drink for me.

Glenhaven 2 Norwest 1 Rouse Hill 4 Baulko Red 0 Winsto 0 Baulko Blue 2 Castle Hill 2 Kellyville 0
Baulko Blue 13 - look back after slow start Rams 13 - need more consistency against lower teams Winston Hills 8 - stronger lineup than last season, need goal scorers Baulko Red 7 - squad numbers & depth looks an issue after solid start Glenhaven 7 - great start coming up from Div 2, can make top 4 finals Castle Hill 7 - surprising a few getting some good results Norwest 6 - slow start they usually finish strong but are making hard work of it again Kellyville 3 - just lack of player numbers have obvious quality

Currypuff ... pull your head in.
I have had a great time watching the O35/1 via the images that the Fox Betamax Boys provide me. I have seen injuries, red cards, great goals, great saves and then there is the whining, complaining and general moaning from the players when they walk off the field. All of it is great and I only wish that I could go back in time an play again.
I have been living up the high life in Europe for the past 6 weeks so I have not posted on the forum. But now that I back in Cold Aust I will get the Beta Boys to supply me with footage again and I will see what the O35/1 comp is like now.
