Greekguy - hes a young lad we picked up.. poor bloke had to play both grades and copped a knock in ressies.. could hardly walk by the end of the 1st grade. He will be right for next week though. didnt help when we were getting pummled wave after wave of Kolts attack at the end of the game but hey we will learn from it and hopefully be back stronger next week!
Will be interesting to see how CHU & Coptic go against each other tonight

Saw the Castle Hill United v Coptic match tonight and it would have been nice to switch the lights off on this match early. 7 or 8 nil.
Coptic started for the first few minutes but were overrun and then early on 2 nil down. It just did not come back from there for them as CHU seemed to get stronger during the match and showed they had plenty of match fitness.
CHU seemed to find themselves offside plenty of times during the first half as they attacked relentlessly.
Coptic it seems haven't been training hard yet so hoping they quickly pick up the speed and become competitive.
It was great to be able to go out midweek and watch some of the Hills Football Premier League so hopefully there are a few more matches scheduled like this one as the season rolls on.

8-0 wow...
Already sounds like a couple teams will end up dropping out of the comp if results stay the same way.

Some cricket scores occurred in round 1.
With PL2 buried for 2018, now almost no options for regrading either.
Let's hope no teams / squads pull the pin.

The one game from the first round that seems to have been overlooked is the one involving last years Champions ..... Kenthurst. They came up against the newly promoted team from North Rocks & only won 2-1 in the closing stages of the game in what I was told was a real nail biter. Both Coptic & North Rocks played in PL/2 last year but have come up with very contrasting results in round 1. I was also told that North Rocks still have some of their best players to return from overseas & injury. The competition may be closer than the first round results may indicate as teams get to full strength & some more game time under their belts. I know that Coptic started slowly last year but finished strongly. We should have a better idea after the first month or so.

Kenthurst apparently lost a fair amount of players from last season with most of their stronger players moving to a GHFA club from what the rumour mill is saying

Kenthurst have never really given youth any chance at the squad and preferring to head hunt some older boys. The one time I've seen them with youth is the ressies last year and they were mediocre at best. Going to be an interesting year.

Where are those pesky predictors? Surely they are due another wrong prediction for this weeks games? Have they ducked for cover? 🤨

Have they ducked for cover? 🤨 With so much judgement does that mean you will be giving us a prediction this week? SNW vs Glenhaven Ressies 2-0 First 2-0 Kenthurst vs Kolts Ressies 1-2 First 1-0 Norwest vs CHU Ressies 0-4 First 0-5 North Rock vs Winsto Ressies 0-3 First 1-3 Baulko vs Coptic Ressies 3-0 First 6-0
