Lads, anyone know the result form yesterdayβs GF? Asking for a mate! Unfortunately I was unable to attend the game as I decided to spend the day at the beach and wave the π π³οΈβππ³οΈβπ.....
From what I hear a 1000 Strong crowd witnessed the best Premier League game in years and was eventually won by the best team in comp ... anyone know the score π€..... also heard the old skipper didnβt have to dust off the boots and take another spot kick....
Those pesky Kolts just complete the clean sweep ... MP, GF, CC.....π₯π₯π₯π

3 out of 4 is not too shabby, a shame those pesky North Rocks lads had to spoil the party! In all seriousness though congrats to Kolts on a great game and year, definitely deserved champions. I almost teared up when big Conway went down injured early in the first half, but his fighting spirit was clear to see as he limped on admirably to lead his team to victory- well played Sir! Congratulations also to Baulko PL youth on their win, your first grade squad could've used some of those finishing skills against Kolts in round 18 Any ideas on how promotion/relegation will work?

As Coptic dropped out and the league finished with just 9 teams, it would probably be easiest to revert back to an 8 team league. Glenhaven would be favourites to drop out I imagine after a poor year consisting of just the 1 win

On seeing how things have panned out over the last two seasons, I believe we need to implement some changes to encourage and promote the Premier League as well as provide opportunities for the youth coming through.
Perhaps looking at how an experienced association such as Gladesville Hornsby FA structure their competition may provide some ideas.
They have their PL competition which is a ten team comp as a squad format, they then have a Super League competition (2nd division) in a squad format however clubs are not permitted to have a squad in each division and there is also a proper promotion and relegation between the two.
Just an option that has proven to be successful in a neighbouring association and one that could be looked at for 2019 perhaps.
