Guest - not sure what you mean by qualified for CoC but below is an extract of the Football NSW Regulations around academy relationships and teams not being eligible to play if their club engages academies to deliver the match day or training experience. State Cup regulations around team eligibility are the same. The governing bodies do not sanction private academies from my understanding. As you say, rules are rules and the association is obligated to follow these rules. Best of luck to all teams and hopefully we can get one or more teams as Champions in our inaugural season.
5. Private Academy Relationship a) Teams may not be permitted to enter the Competitions if: i. The Club of the nominated Team engages a private academy or other external provider to deliver the match day and/or training of any team at the Club which falls within any of the age grades listed at Section 1 (Organisation), paragraph (g) of these Regulations (Competition Age Grade) where that engagement results in increased fees to players, or ii. The Club of the nominated Team engages a private academy or other external provider in a model that promotes participation in the private academy to ensure selection in any Competition Age Grade team of the Club, or iii. The Club of the nominated Team endorses or recommends a private academy or other external provider that promotes or offers players a real or perceived “pathway” to a professional football club, either domestic or international, or iv. There is any other formal or informal activity that FNSW may determine, in its absolute discretion, as constituting a relationship between the Club of the nominated Team and a private academy or other external provider, or v. The same applies for items i. through iv. should the Team engage a private academy or other external provider independently of its Club’s direction.
b) Should a team be accepted into the Competitions and subsequently be found to breach the eligibility condition relating to private academies, that team may be removed from the competition.

The Premiers for each competition grade can be viewed in the tables on iCompman on the Hills website.
The Kenthurst team entered is the PL1 team which is the highest Men's division in the Hills Comp.
It is up to each association to nominate a team for each age and generally speaking all associations nominate the Premiers from each of their highest divisions for each age. The exceptions to this are teams are banned by FNSW from participating if their club has any of their teams managed by a private academy and associations generally will not enter a team if that team has a history of violence or poor behaviour.

ROUND 1 PUMA CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Sees some of our teams make the road trip out to Griffith for matches on Sunday the 17th September, now two weeks away. Would be fantastic to see a large amount of supporters making a weekend of it and out cheering on our teams as they represent their club and Hills Football. Teams that do not have a match listed below either have drawn a bye or commence their tournament in round 2. Good luck to all teams as you commence your journey to becoming the PUMA CHAMPION OF CHAMPION winners. HILLS FOOTBALL has won its first FOOTBALL NSW tournament in its inaugural season with an U13 boys State Cup title win, now our teams focus on the prestigious FNSW PUMA Champion of Champions tournament. Has anyone heard about players that got two yellow cards during the semis being suspended for the first champions of champions game? Does that mean those not in COC miss the first round next year?
I think the idea behind the cards in semis was a good idea, but missing these games to represent the association would be a shame, definitely giving the other associations a leg up.

Hills Mens 45 representative has been put down as Kellyville Kolts? Kellyville United maybe ineligible or a Freudian slip??? Maybe the Kolts will need to polish their boots for next weeks game v Glenmore Park Well Done to the teams who won yesterday in Griffith. The Best of Luck to all teams next week Attachments:

No Feudian Slip my friend. Kolts have known since the end of last season that they would be put forward due to Utd having too many youngsters who were ineligible, leading to a lack of numbers. Kolts advised they had been selected a couple of weeks ago and are ready for the trip to Penrith next Sunday

Kellyville United FC were nominated as the CoC reps for Hills Football as they won the comp. They qualified for CoC with the FNSW eligibility criteria however done the noble gesture and withdrew because of a lack of numbers as some players could not play. Kellyville Kolts deservedly have taken their place as they finished second. Good luck to the Kolts.
Our teams performed well at Griffith and i was very surprised how strong a football region Griffith is.
U12 - Castle Hill United had no subs whatsoever and came up against a Griffith side who had at least half a dozen players being 6 ft tall and very strong on the ball and had the stamina and striking ability of much older players. They were in the match until early in the second half and then got run over. They can hold their heads high and did really well.
U13 - Rouse Hill Rams played against last season's U12 CoC winners who ironically knocked them out last year and was a game that went from end to end. This match could have been anyone's game and simply came down to who had the best luck with the penalty shoot out. The Rams keeper made an awesome save as did the Hanwood FC keeper, unfortunately Rams lost in penalties but they played brilliantly.
U14 - Castle Hill United played in a very tough match and the game was quite even but during the second half the CHU team started to exert themselves and finished the match winners 1-0.
U15 - Castle Hill United were totally dominant winning 7-1 and only conceded one goal when they switched off.
U16 - Glenhaven had a really competitive first half and dropped a goal against the run of play going into half time 0-1. The second half had almost the entire half being played in the opposition half and once Glenhaven scored the equaliser in about the 65th minute, the flood gates opened and they finished on top 4 - 1. Could have been more as they played awesome in the second half.
Unfortunately our 16 girls and AAL 1 teams forfeited in the week leading up to round 1.

Games and fixtures can be found on the link below. www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php?id=champion-of-championsAs it turns out, the 16 girls and AAL teams from Griffith who won last Sunday because our teams forfeited, have been drawn against Sydney teams and appears they have now forfeited.
