Col, all roads of HFI destruction lead to the island commune of Le Mont St Michele.
Don't like what 14 or 15 clubs want! That's ok, we'll petition Football NSW to help us get our own way. Greed, Greed, Greed.
Don't have the numbers on the board! That's ok, we'll create a new position on the board to ensure we get our own way.
Well Mr President & the purple heart brigade, it's now your show and everyone is watching. Hope your sleeping better at night than those that have fallen recently.

Careful guys - at least one of the Administrators on here has a purple heart.
Lets stick to FACTS and leave the emotions out of it.
The question is how did the minority of HFI board (who lost the vote to delay any changes for another year via a 'moratorium') manage to convince key players at FNSW to get involved and recommend a moratorium?
There is so much money to be gained / lost by the association with ASR - is there also personal interest for some?
FNSW have no right getting involved given other associations have been operating under the same 2.2 Clause we voted in (for several years) eg Manly Warringah, Northern Suburbs, St George, etc

Crazycow said: "Careful guys - at least one of the Administrators on here has a purple heart".I am not sure how you reached that conclusion as I have not seen anything on the forum that would suggest that this statement is true. The role of the Administrator and/or Moderator is to ensure that the Forum Rules are adhered to & done so in an unbiased manner for the protection of all concerned. Forum users are entitled to their opinion as long as they stay within the rules. PS - If I don't agree with you it is because you are wrong.

Nice subtle religious slur while jumping on the Knights bashing bandwagon. Also really clever to disguise your comments without mentioning the Club and hiding behind an anonymous post. Not going to sit back and have keyboard warriors disparage a club that was a founding member of both SHFA & HFI and has done nothing but be honest and transparent.

The religious slur is noted and the member has been warned. Anonymity of all members is guaranteed. He is entitled to have a go at what he thinks is happening, but within the rules.

Surely two foundation directors don't just up and leave citing "integrity" reasons for nothing? Does anyone (accurately) know why they left? Can we ask them?

Surely two foundation directors don't just up and leave citing "integrity" reasons for nothing? Does anyone (accurately) know why they left? Can we ask them? I think you will find that the details surrounding these events are now out in the public forum. The first director to resign was Graeme Luck who was then followed by Mick Pawelko. The reasons for their actions stem from the handling of By Law 2.2 (private academies) by the board. There was considerable disagreement on the processes undertaken & the lack of transparency surrounding this issue. This is indeed a very disappointing series of events & there may even be a further resignation to come. Graeme & Mick are both honourable men & don't deserve to end their association with the HFI board in this manner. They both deserve a big thanks for their hard work, dedication & integrity in setting up & developing both the SHFA & the HFI. Without their efforts neither association would have been a reality. As for, Can we ask them ? I think that they would both appreciate that their privacy is respected at this point in time. Obviously there are now a considerable number of questions that the board needs to answer surrounding these disturbing events.

Fair shout Oracle. Many people no doubt echo your sentiments and I would like to hope that their resignations have not been in vain. I hope our respective clubs stand up and ask questions of those remaining board members who's actions may require further analysis.

Looks like the misdirection and subterfuge has everyone looking in the other direction.
Join the dots - 2 x directors involved in GSAP - a resultion passed at the HFI meeting about coaches grabbing players at GSAP for their clubs - directors feeling guilty and resigning. Sure that 2.2 has been a problem for everyone but it may not be the reason. Where is Reddington when you need him?

Barbie your comments, well need i say don't let the facts get in the way of manure. I know people who were at the Girls SAP trials and have been told that two men wearing Hills Football shirts (assuming directors) advised all parents clearly at the commencement of the trials about technical development, the SAP program and clearly advised all parents they had to register with a Hills Football Club for the 2018 season of their choice to be able to participate in the program. In the last week, parents have been told that their daughter cannot play with their friends at a club at all and they have to be now split up. It would appear that some clubs have had very few of their players make the SAP program and are now causing issues. Barbie you would know that one club at the meeting you refer to stated that clubs should not be allowed to form super teams in relation to girls SAP, but that club has academy teams. Go figUre......

I would be careful as to what you are saying as you are besmirching the characters of two of the most reputable champions of Hills Football with a load of rubbish. They are deserving of much better than this dribble. Get your facts straight before peddling them on this forum.

We all know it is about 2.2, what we don't all know it is a club that wants to disregard the preferences of the majority of other clubs. What we don't know is why they want to go down that path, or why the majority appear to be so impotent to effect change.
