According to the HFI Website the current seven Directors are:
Matthew Perram. Associated with Glenhaven. Mick Pawelko. Associated with Castle Hill United. Brad Shorrock. Dino DiGiulio. Associated with Hills United. Eyman Ahmed. Gabrielle Dracopoulos. Scott Marchant.
I am sure other forum members can fill in the missing information.

How cosy 4 out of the 7 linked to the same club.
Heaven forbid if anything serious fell from the sky that involved CHUFC.

Matt - ex Glenhaven President Mick - ex CHU President - Life Member Brad - CHU player Dino - ex Hills United President Eyman - ex CHU President Gabs - Norwest player Scott - ex CHU Committee Member
I understand another CHU player and high profile local identity is also looking join the board. Would be a terrific coup for HFI, the only issue is the CHU connection and a clubs control of the HFI Board.
Agree, Raymond a max of 2 directors with a club background would assist in transparency. Though, we also need the best people available on the Board to cover the positions available, rather than a quota system and a good candidate be ineligible.

Some of the job descriptions of Board members appeared to be covered by jobs of staff according to the web site. I think 5 Board members would be sufficient. Probably the most important role doesn’t have a Director assigned and that is the Director of Bull$hit.

Couldn't agree with you more Raymond. I suspect that this situation has happened overtime as the jolly green men have conspired to stack the board to their advantage. Would be interesting to see the motions that have been proposed and the individual voting patterns.
Definitely fails the pub test.

I can only speak for myself - I play at Castle Hill in their o45s and have never held a committee or other position. My time spent was over 25 years at Southern Districts and I was originally appointed to the board upon HFI commencing. I was then reappointed for a second term before putting my hand up to be elected - the year that I was elected there were only 3 nominations and therefore all 3 were elected unopposed with no vote required. Can't see that is conspiring for anything and will definitely pass any pub test. When I was appointed there were the following Directors - 1 x Hills Knights, 1 x Castle Hill, 1 x Glenhaven, 1 x Kenthurst, 1 x Baukham Hills, 1 x Norwest and 1 x Kellyville UTd...
Also, anyone from any club can nominate via the process...
My thoughts are that if you are not doing the right thing by all clubs, then the clubs have the right to vote you out, simple as that...

Many committees are made up of the only people willing to step-up, or last to sit down. Not ideal it's stacked for 1 club, but i doubt they get too much preferential treatment.
