Looks like Perth is out but Pan Pacific 50/50. Looks like an Over 60 private unsanctioned comp will start next year!!!! With teams from all over Sydney & also weekend tournaments for O/55, O/60 & O/65 bringing in Newcastle, Central Coast, Canberra & South Coast teams. A group is forming to organise the comp & sponsors. FNSW & all Associations will miss out big time on lost money & players. I wish you luck baulkokid with the Pan Pacific, but with the current state of the pandemic & the fact that anyone travelling interstate from NSW is very much on the nose with other states, I think your prediction may be a bit optimistic. Sounds a bit like deja vu with an unsanctioned comp being formed & discussed on this Forum. I hope the people organising it know what they are in for as it is a mighty challenge ahead for them. Particularly with all the dramas being caused by COVID. There could be a spot for you on the organising committee for this new unsanctioned competition. Baulkokid for President has a nice ring to it don't you think ? Good Luck for the future.

A new private Association is starting OASIS ( Older And Still Into Soccer ) Masters Football Association. The Hillsbillies will be a founding member with 8 groups. Looking after the Mental & physical needs of Over 60s football players. Comps & Tournaments mens O/60, O/65 maybe O/55 & O/50 Womens. Will be 11 v 11 running full field & maybe 8 v 8 running half field. No Walking Football as FNSW & Associations have it & we don't want it.

Yeah going private (or outside of the Governing body) is the only real way to get it off the ground per the points I made before. Seems like thats the natural progression for other states as well: Melbourne had to do the same: over45soccer.com.au/mmvfl/#QLD: legendsfootball.com.au/

Looks like the OASIS Masters Football Association will follow the same path as we did with the SHFA, the over 60s players have paid $1000s each to FNSW and $1000 each to HFI (sounds like Granville) in their playing days… and both are not going to support this age 60 group…shame on them 😤 looking forward playing in the OASIS Masters Football Association in 2022…

With many in the O/60 bracket reluctant to get vaccinated.....or at least with Astra Zeneca....how do you think this will impact plans moving forward ?
