Agreed Winston Hills still a threat and can beat any team when on song...blame the bookies for the longer odds

Agree about WH, I would not be writing them off. Like Has Been mentioned, they did really well to get to the GF last year and from what I heard, had chances to win it against a very good Granville Rage side. All the more reason I was a little taken back by some of their results this year in relation to losses to teams i would of expected them to beat. On their day they can knock anyone off in this comp. Again the 5-0 loss against RH was not what I would of expected. Did WH rest players and thus the blowout? or did RH just blow them off the park?

Baulkham Hills $1.10 in my opinion. Lets be serious here for a moment, they are the best team in this comp by a country mile. The rest of the teams are just playing catch up. Not sure what the circumstances were when they lost to the Rams few weeks back, however my suspicion is that they were missing players or were more interested in their state cup run. I predict that they will put the cleaners through Rams this weekend similar to the beating they gave them earlier in the year.
As for the other semi, Norwest will run rings around the ageing Winston Hills team. expecting a large scoreline with plenty of goals.

SEMI FINAL PREDICTIONS:
BH 3 RH 1 - time for the league winners to show their worth after bottling it last season. They'll replicate their State Cup form and will have too much class for RH, BH also with the home ground advantage. Also a chance for RH to silence the non-believers with a home GF appearance on offer for them.
WH 3 NW 2 - WH to shake off a poor season to date and rise to the occasion. NW have midfield quality and Eric Mobbs will suit their compact game, but they won't be able to handle WH in this one with the set piece specialists getting the win in a classic.
Good luck to all teams looking forward to results being published after the games.

predictioning winsto to pump the old boys @ norwest by at least 3
Baulko will be too strong for the Toongabbie Demons (sorry Rouse Hill Rams) - the Rams try to dribble it into the net
Baulko on the flanks will be far to quick & their transition out of defence is by far the best in the league, problem is both these sides are perenial whingers so whoever can shut up for the longest will go a long way to deternining the outcome

Baulkham Hills 1 Rouse Hill 0
A very tough game by two determined teams. Whoever believes Rouse Hill cannot win the competition is seriously mistaken after this performance. This looked their strongest line-up with many old Toonie faces in the team. The Rams narrowly had the better of the first half however Baulkham Hills dominated in the second, scoring an absolute cracker, top corner from outside the area. Once they scored it looked very unlikely for Rams to hit back and they closed off the game nicely. Neither team can claim to have had many shots on goal and both Keepers looked comfortable. The dire struggle also resulted in many free kicks which both teams defended well. The Minor Premiers and State Cup Finalists march onto the Grand Final and will welcome a week off. For the Rams it was a tough encounter and they looked to have a few injuries plus yellow cards which they picked up in the game which could be a concern for them this weekend against Norwest. Looks like Norwest won but only just over Winston Hills, proving that this competition is a lot closer than many may think when all teams are at full strength. Norwest have the home ground advantage this weekend and will need it against a tough Rouse Hill who will be keen to get another shot at Baulkham Hills.

Who would have thought that Norwest would go from last after 5 games to their 4th GF in a row? Odds of $50 would have been fair. Today, A tight arm wrestle in the strong wind that played havoc with the ball skills of both teams. The winner came with 2 minutes to go after a blistering free kick into the gale from well outside the box. GF will be between the only 2 sides that have scored every match. Good Luck to both sides in the GF. I might get down to the Rams home ground on Saturday if I can get my chores done. Attachments:

Norwest always top 4 compared to the rest of the pack but agreed a good effort after a slow start. Interested to know their GF record in those past 4 appearances.
So in the end the majority of opinions on here were correct about doubting the Rams. They've gone out the back door after two 1-0 losses and couldn't score in 160 minutes of finals footy, lack of goal scoring ultimately their weakness & downfall.
GF should be a cracker with Rams serving the snacks from their club canteen at Commercial Road ...or maybe more likely they'll be having a punt Sat arvo at Toonie Workers Club.
