Is anyone else playing AAW this season noticing even more inconsistencies in refereeing?
Refs need more control of the games, need to pull up rough plays and penalise dangerous players, even the simple stuff, never seen so many foul throws not be called! How are new players supposed to learn?
Can refs also be tougher on women’s games too? Where are the refs in calling out riled up players.. use your sin bin! Those players then continue on in the game to either injure another player or themselves or earn themselves a card. Isn’t the point of the 10 mins to calm these players down to avoid that?
The games will just continue to get more rough and instead of teams becoming more skilled, they will just become more aggressive as they know they can get away with it.
I heard that a ref said to a player who was completely taken out in a bad tackle “on any other day I would have given that yellow card” what kind of comment is that?! Where was the card then?!
I’ve been playing in the hills for over 15 years and I have never been treated so unfairly by the refs. It wouldn’t be surprising if this was also another reason those 5 teams in AAW are playing in a different association.

Spiderpig.....I don't doubt the sincerity of your claims.....BUT.....your efforts would be better directed to the source of your problem......namely straight to the Referees Association or via your own club where there is a chance that some action may be taken.
The Forum may give you an avenue through which to air your grievances but cannot really achieve the changes that you desire. So long as your claims on the Forum are not abusive or false then feel free to express them but don't expect any miracle outcomes.

I will be taking this further but I just wanted to know if any other teams are experiencing the same thing. I would also never post false claims, but source is very reputable
