OK. So with Coolong Div 1 pulling the pin does that mean that their players will be reallocated to Div 2 / 3 / 4 / 5. If so then that is for the other teams in those comps.
And bluess21 .. yes NR are now in Div 2

And bluess21 .. yes NR are now in Div 2 as far as I know there are not many players able to continue playing. most of them will be transferred to AA team or O35/2.

So if a team is in Div 1 their players cannot help out a lower Division with players during the year. However if they disband then they can join a lower team to support them potentially win a comp? Does not sound fair

not many options available. just trying to give those players a chance to play. it is already a short season. we paid full fees for such a short comp which is unfair too.

Yeah its a bid hard to get away from Coolong not playing a straight bat with team nominations etc i.e. they have 5 O35 teams 2019 and now 5 teams in 2020 (due to the team folding). By originally nominating 6 teams it seems they found say a whole new teams worth of guys for Div 1?
Last years O35/3 Coolong team that won Div 3 by heaps, are they back in Div 3 this year? Shouldnt they have gone to Div 2 this year without question? (i.e. there should have been at least 2 Coolong teams in Div 2 this year, the 2s from last year that finished 2nd and the winner of 3s that won by miles).
Its the same and only Div 2 team in Div 2 as last year.
Look at the tables now, 4 out 5 of the divisions have them winning every comp, only 1 game lost (in total) across the 4 divisions.
Seems like they made this Div 1 team up to avoid putting up the teams, now the proof is in the pudding, so to say. Hopefully the association takes more than a cursory glance at the nominations for them next year (bit hard to not do that when you look at the tables!)
If the same thing happens again next year then shuffle all their teams up a division.

The surprise result for mine was the 1-0 win for Rouse Hill over Knights. Either the Rams were off or the Knights finally worked out how to play to their potential. Anyone watch this game? Watched the first half, was pretty even, some good players in Knights team, could come up with a few surprises on their day.

If the same thing happens again next year then shuffle all their teams up a division. The O35/3 team from last season was disbanded, some players went to O35/2 and some stay in O35/3. some players over45 have to move to O35/4 as Coolong don't have a O45 team this season. The O35/1 team was formed by some O35/2 players and some new players (during club grading game they beat our O35/2) So it is laughable to say club made the D1 team up to avoid putting up the teams. Also O35/3 team was originally nominated in 2s March 2020. with change of the number of teams in each division during June 2020 and it was put down to Div3 as there is no Coolong team in that division. The club has 5-6 O35 teams and it was graded by their performance throughout the grading matches. I felt the competition level was weaker than last year maybe due to Covid19 crisis. and that maybe the reason Coolong leads some of the tables. Looking at the table, O35/3 leads by 1 point but played extra game, O35/5 on top with equal point also played extra game. They will be 2nd easily after catch up game played.

Ahhhh.......isn"t it refreshing to get some factual information from someone who knows what is actually going on.......rather than second guessing the situation. Seems to put everything in a much clearer perspective.

Rumor has it Castle Hill fielded a suspended player on Monday night and have had their result reversed. Its a shame that an entitled few at this club spoil it for the majority who are actually decent blokes. It was their only win for the season and they blew it.

How disgraceful hopefully they finally get relegated from this competition. They have never been any good anyways!

Impossible to know a player shouldn't play on a Monday night when HFI send the suspension notice for him 24 hours later on the Tuesday night... and when the Electronic Teamsheet shows him as available but other suspended players as not available.
