Hello, Being one of the CHU O45/1 players I can say that the 2nd team have a number of handy players (Big Al for one). What has helped that team is that nearly half the team have come from Hills Hawks, so they already have a good understanding of each others game. And since the CHU teams have NOT played each other prior to the season starting, neither team has smashed the other. We basically had informal small games where anyone could rock up for a kick...such as a few 12-18 yr olds, bloody hard they kept nipping at our ankles. Most of the players only found out which team they were in teh Wednesday night before the first round. I hope that we all enjoy the season. Cheers so you reckon they should stay in 45/2's? i have it on good authority that CHU knew both teams belonged in 1's, that's why they tried splitting them up, but even when you split up two very good teams you still end up with 2 very good teams...

Pretty sure that if you vs a full team and score 11 goals you are in the wrong division!
Unless you are in div 1 in which case the opposition is in the wrong division.
Anyway, its all blah blah blah and I am sure will be taken care of at re-grade time, not much point making a fuss now.
Remember theres only 2 divisions so you can be sure there will be teams that arent good enough for Div 1 but are too good for Div 2.

whoever was 18 from Castle Hill (black shorts and black bears socks) should be banned, 2 headbutts in the space of 30 seconds, flailing arms, pushes, elbows throughout the match. Absolute disgrace to his club.

Has nothing directly to do with me but I am certainly interested in what happens with this, if there are acqusations of shenanigans (headbutts!) what action will HFA take?
If there is evidence of an incident (through confirmed reports etc) can anything be done if there were no cards for the incident?
I asked HFA recently if HFA will be releasing disciplinary results on their website as I believe it was a great failing of GDSFA over the years in not releasing this information. If you were a player who had suffered something serious enough for the opposition to end up in a disciplinary procedure, you wanted to know what happened to the perpetrator.
Sorry should say HFA said that they wont be releasing disciplinary results. I dont agree with that as I am not sure what is achieved by not releasing it? Surely releasing it would show that the HFA is not taking any sh1t and showing clearly the repercussions for stupidity.
A lack of information always tends the mind to wander to things being glossed over, slaps on wrists, weak wristed stick wielders, brown paper bags blah blah blah

Any grievances concerning any incidence of foul play can be reported to the association via the club secretary even if there were no cards issued by the referee..

Kellyville played Baulko in a good game yesterday. Baulko with some good breaks very eraly in 1st half got to 3-0 very quickly. Probably Kellyville just being rusty in the new year. KV tightened up after that getting a clear penalty, push in the back from a corner to squeeze out 4-1 at halftime. Then better defence on both sides had 1 goal each in 2nd half with final score 5-2. All fair play from both teams and good young refs. hey Chuck... i think its just you and me on this forum that play in 45/2's... good luck against Glenhaven White... we've got Glenhaven Red

Kolts 1 Glenhaven 0 Close game and could have went either way, perhaps kolts just edging it with more chances created. Game played in good spirits, although one little South American was keen to let everyone know he was once a "Professional" player and everyone else was just "Park" players! 45/2's must be an ultimate low point in his career!

BHFC 0 - 1 Glenhaven Red Our game was also close. We missed a pen in the first half. GH scored midway through the 2nd half. One of our guys was taken out in the box late in the game with no pen awarded. It was that bad that we had to carry him off... shocking tackle, shocking decision. Anyway, we didn't take our chances and GH did.
