I was a witness to some horrible display by some Parents from Kenhurst @ an under 10's game on the weekend.
When is it right for parents of the opposition to heckle ref's, laugh at kids when they perform a foul throw or make a mistake to their teams advantage.
It's not right when a 10 year old kid is in tears after the game, as he can hear every word being said.
When approached by the mother of the child all the tough guys all of a sudden had nothing to say and walked away. Living through your kids, please, pull your heads in.
This is a game, its not the world cup!

That's not on at any age, especially little ones. Put in a complaint to the club, ask them to investigate.

Lobster,
Will be doing so, especially when the Kenthurst coach was heard saying "I know exactly who it would be, they are like it every week". Poor coach is just a kid, so may be intimidated to have a word to the knuckle heads.

What did you do about it at the time to diffuse the situation?

I’ve noticed an increasing absence of ground officials. That would be the person who is supposed to be approached for these kinds of incidents.

Can’t remember. I’ve heard the same from another however. That makes it officially a trend!
