At the recent AGM, Craig Gough, Patrick Smith & Bill Renton retired from the Board respective of their elected terms. Bill Renton did not seek re-election.
Craig Gough, Patrick Smith & Dino DiGiulio were officially welcomed to the Board of HFI, each with two year terms, as of the 15th April, 2019.
As there were only three accepted nominations to fill the three vacant positions on the Board there was no voting required by the clubs.
A big thank you to Bill Renton is in order, as he has been actively involved in the formation & success of both SHFA & HFI. Well done Bill.

Well done to the two returning Directors as well as the new Director for throwing their hats in the ring.
I have heard the new Director comes with a wealth of experience both in the corporate / business world as well as football which will be a great benefit to the association.

Good on you Dino.
A very professional and experienced man, highly educated, finance professional, membership of numerous professsional associations and long term President, Director and Chairman positions within football.
A very good addition to the association and would make an excellent Chairperson in my opinion.

Nice to see some positive comments being directed towards the Board. With Craig Gough standing down as Chairperson of the Board this year it is timely that there is a good pool of talent to choose from to fill this position.

Do the clubs have any input, or opportunity to elect a new chairperson?

Mate of mine in legal at FNSW tells me people will not be happy with the choice of new chairperson, timely to mention that the outgoing Chairman has done a great job (if you're a Knight, just don't ask Winsto or Norwest). Agree that new Hills United board member is a strong candidate but surely can't have the Chairman of HFI from a club with no teams in HFI? Would that be too impartial...any early guesses which club the new chair hails from?

Why would winsto and Norwest be upset with the outgoing chairman?
