So here's a (slightly personal situation related) question; do the non-proper-yellow card sin bins count as proper yellows for the cumulative 5 yellows gets a ban scenario? or no, cos apparently they're not actual yellows? As you said they are not “Sanctions” and don’t count towards Yellow Cards Noice, noice

Whats everyones thoughts for how this is working out this season?
I have seen less than a handful of sin bins but I think they have been good. It really gives the ref an option to tackle numpties rather than a usual yellow inflaming the situation.
I also love the numpties own teammates usually giving it to the bloke who gets sin binned! Highly entertaining. Its effective and i think is encouraging people to pull their heads in a bit. Also encouraging peoples teammates to tell numpties to calm down more than they have done in the past.

I agree it is entertaining watching team mates having a go because they can't keep their mouth shut. However have only seen one whole season and there was no dissent in what was said, just a general comment whilst in the same match a player swore several times at the referee... unsure if there is consistency

It appears to have improved after mid season when Refs were actually told what the rule was to be used for. we had several occasions where Refs were warning players and even binning them for aggressive tackles!! No comments from the player (not my team) . Then to have Refs stand over players and use the threat of a Sinbin when they are talking to opposing players?? When used correctly it is a good rule and does get a players team mates riled up when he gets binned
