Hills Knights 3 0 Rouse Hill Rangers what a bunch of sore losers these guys are, after going up 3-0 in the first half a melee erupted earlier in the 2nd half where 1 player from each side were giving there marching orders, to make matters worse Mr Juiced Up sprinted 20 metres to get involved escalating the situation ( didn't run fast all game until that point) we had some easy chances in the second half to help with our for an against but wasn't to be, would of been nice for the Rangers players to shake hands but each to there own. Will be interesting this week with us playing the Top 2 teams hope we come with the right attitude makes for an interesting weekend.

Winsto Blue 0 - Baulko Blue 1. Soft penalty late in the game, ref missed the foul that caused the handball, but that's life at Ted Horwood. Certainly makes for an interesting finish to the season. Plenty of teams still in it and a few more twists and turns no doubt.

Can we seriously just have a half season competition! We would be so much better off. 4 point from a possible 18 in the second half - not looking good for finals. CHU were just too fast, too fit and better at finishing than us yesterday. We scored the first but didn't score any of the next 4. Hopefully we can turn it around in the cold on Tuesday night against Rams.

Saturday Norwest 3 Winsto Red 2 The rut continued, beaten by a better team on the day. We are broken, too many injuries and getting too old.
Sunday Winsto Red 4 Baulko Blue 4 They were too fast and good in the first half and went to the break 3-0 up (all goals scored by their 3 Div 2 borrowed players). We didn't give up and kept them out early in the 2nd, then we looked like the team from the first 9 games. Got back to 3-3 with some lovely goals, they got back to the lead with another goal from a div 2 player, but again we kept coming and got the well deserved equaliser with 1 min to go. Still broken, but not giving up!!

Saturday
Hills Knights 3 Baulkham Hills Red 0 Great game by our boys considering what was up for grabs, game was played in great spirits, pity the referee was average.
Sunday
Sydney Coolong 3 Hills Knights 0 Difficult for our 40+ year old guys to back up 24 hours later, with a number of boys sitting out we had to borrow couple guys from the Over 45's so we had a bench, Coolong with a cast of thousands to fast and too young for us today looked like they didn't even play the day before. To make matters worse we lost a number of guys to injury throughout the game, the score could of been a lot worse if Coolong were a lot more ruthless in front of goal.

Well that's our season done and dusted. A combination of being old, injuries, blokes going on holidays and some generally crap football where we struggle to string three passes together have conspired to reduce the second half of our season to rubble. Good luck to those still in contention for the semis - it will be hard fought as it has been all season.
Bring on 45s!!!!!

Macduff ... You cannot be serious. 45s. your team (when fully fit and not being on holidays) can match it with any team in Div 2 or 3.

Some big games coming up over the weekend, there are 5 teams mathematically vying for 3 spots good luck to all those teams involved. Just two spots available now. Rangers have handed Baulko Red a weekend off and an automatic three points. Baulko Blue should be able to borrow four quality players and book their spot too.
