Interesting match which unfolded between North rocks v Knights, whilst knights were down on numbers (9 to be exact) it was made all the tougher when North Rocks canned all referees and officials due to the weather, resulting in their ‘mate’ who just happened to be the only spectator at the ground in the pouring rain, officiating the match.
The eyesight of this particular referee/mate, can only be compared to that of stevie wonder and even then, i think that’s a a tad harsh towards Stevie.
On a brighter note, some Notable points to be taken from the match the honorary referee for stepping up on such late notice and seeing the final results of generational inbreeding which lead to a number of players celebrating AAM3 Goals with a “SIUUUUUU”.

Bit like being back in Granville again. But in saying that its much better than Greenacre, after what happened to that poor official.

In all honesty Mr Eater, despite your thorough analysis of the game predicated on your unwavering footballing genius I would like to modestly yet sternly disagree with your contentious statement. I feel asif you have drastically underestimated and undermined the performance by the North Rocks Football Club, particularly their number 7 who was nothing short of genius with two majestic assists. Nevertheless I would like to conclude by saying SIIUUUUUU PURPLE PEOPLE EATER TRASH LOL WHY MAD UP THE ROCKS BABY !!!

Rams came up short against kellyville prems last night in the hills cup with a 3-1 result. We barely strung a fit 11 together, so with twice as much fitness and ball possession to KVU it was a fair result, albeit much of their possession was in useless areas of the pitch. I haven’t played first grade in a decade but the quality of prems (at the lower levels as least) and the toughness of the players has clearly dipped significantly. Lucky they have exceptional protection from the officials (it was basically forced to become a non-contact sport, except of course a last man obvious goalscoring foul from KVU which didn’t result in a red card - can’t have a prem player suspended for the weekend right?). What a waste of resources and energy on these posers.
Looking forward to a top of the table clash against a chirpy rocks this weekend.

Coptic will be there - they’ve technically only lost 2 games (2 were disciplinary forfeits). They haven’t had the chance to verse rams or Bella yet, so could easily close the gap.
It’s absolutely a 5 horse race.
Cracker of a game last week between bella vista and rams btw (top of the table clash). BV have been a good additional to the comp.
Shame the integrity of the table has been ruined a little bit as a result of some shifty play by hills spirit - somehow they managed to convince a ref to play 45mins of a match and get it cancelled as soon as second half started due to weather so that they could steal 3 points off first place. Association have been crickets about acknowledging the dodgyness / request to finish the game. I hope spirit get smacked for the rest of the season by every other team - ignore their dodgy 9 points, they are easily the worst team in this comp.

Cuda, notwithstanding your claim that the referee did something dodgy, which is unlikely.
I think you will find that by-law 8.1.13 deals with what you have asked the association.
"In the event of any game not being played owing to weather or other causes over which neither Club has any control, a game is considered completed/played if a minimum of 50% of the game has been played."
As you got to half time and the game was abandoned the match is considered complete. It is an unfortunate outcome, but the competition rules are typically adhered to in a black-and-white fashion, it is what creates consistency. I am sure that this would have been communicated to the respective clubs if a request came to the association.

Thanks Stevo, yep we read the bylaws afterwards and it became clear why hills spirit did what they did. Absolutely no ref blaming here though (not sure why you thought I was?), he openly admitted he didn’t know what happens with the result, but called it off when he did because of the high vis bloke on the sideline barking at him. I’m no weather expert, but 2 x AA3 games were being played at exactly the same time within 3km of each other - the riddle I can’t answer is how one game was abandoned and replayed, one game got the full 90, and one game got 45mins and result stands. And we’ve been chasing a response back since the weekend of the match, but like I said, crickets. I understand there’s hundreds of teams and thousands of players so it’s administratively easier to bury head in sand. Doesn’t mean we can’t call a spade a spade when we see it.

Coptic are BACK after taking down the current leaders bella 3-0. Rams had to work their balls off last week to beat Coptic, the score line didn’t reflect what a tight game it was. Was only a matter of time before Coptic came roaring back with a big result.
What a brilliant 5 horse race we’ve got here for the title.
Rams marginally back on top after downing rocks today by a goal with their only shot on target.
