Word around the parks is Kellyville United, Rockets and Kenthurst not returning. The 1st to teams squads have reduced dramatically and bush boys played this year only to defend the title from last year. Might see them all at the Bella Vista trials the day after grand final

Finals at ted horwood. Hills football do a great job of ensuring the worst possible scenarios for every premier league & ressie squad.
Going to be a competitive 4 team comp next year!

So here is the grand final update from the game last night - the word we are looking for is ….bananas
At 2-2 at the end of the 1st half of extra time the game was abandoned because of restrictions to play past 10pm (adjoining residents restrictions)
Now it will go to the Hills Board to decide if 1) they will have joint GF winners or 2) if they play the final 15min next week
Why would you kick off extra time at 9.45pm knowing you can’t play past 10pm….no sudden death or silver goal rule in play

What a disgrace 2 teams play all season, with 2 wins a piece, one the best defensive and the other the best attacking team in the comp, only to have their Final cut short by nothing more than poor planning.
It has long been known that the lights at Valentine go out at 10pm. It's, by the by, that Valentine was there a long time before any of the residents, also that it was a Saturday night and residents can have parties, before cutting off the music at midnight. However, regardless Valentine must abide by council rules.
For HFI not to plan a schedule to take into account Extra Time and Pens, needs to be questioned. The Prem Ressies went into Extra Time, delaying the kick-off in Firsts. Surely when the Ressies went into ET, HFI could see an issue if Firsts had a level score at Full-Time and worked on a solution and advised the 2 teams. Imagine if Ressies went to Pens, then Firsts wouldn't have completed the regulation 90 minutes of their game. Very embarrassing.
For the board to decide if there are Joint GF Winners or to play the remaining 15 minutes plus Pens if needed, at a date, time and venue to be advised, is open to question. The Board itself has a vast majority of directors with a background from one of the clubs involved, surely a conflict of interest. Players had this date in their diary at the beginning of the season and may have other commitments after this weekend.
Overall a very embarrassing finish finish for Hills Football to their Premier League competition

Hills football doing their best to make the hills premier league a ****ing joke. There priorities are in the wrong places. So much potential to have a good league with massive following for a park football competition.
Absolute clowns. They need to put their hand up and be accountable for this. Two teams that have voluntarily rocked up to training 2 nights a week and once on the weekend. No pay , no bonuses or anything, only for the love of the game, just to result in this rubbish.

It is a bit hard to understand how they didn’t foresee any of the games going to extra time. Does anyone know when the decision will be made by Hills Football?
I can’t imagine both teams being overly keen on playing 15 minutes this weekend. A dampener on an otherwise enjoyable grand final!

It is a disaster...how do you come back and play 15 mins then maybe penalties. The same players need to be on the pitch at the time, subs already made, players injured, busted, or even could be away as the season is 'planned' prior. No real options are going to great.
Wonder how many sides the comp will even have next year?

Like I said before Norwest still have not won a comp, and they still haven't. They have just been handed the joint competition winners due to HFI unable to run a Grand Final day properly. Know wonder 3 teams are not coming back to play in this shambles of a comp. More teams to follow

I can name a few clubs that have been just as dominant, Winsto, Baulko and Kolts over the years. The difference between them and Norwest is, they actually beat the other team in the GF on the score board. Not get handed a championship. Last time I looked it was 2 all against the Karen's of Castle Hill.

At the end of the day norwest’s name will go onto the premiers plate. In the books they have got the job done. Their dominance throughout the season has seen them win the minor premiership and the grand final. Congratulations to them, it seems most people have gone into hiding as norwest live rent free in everybody’s head
