To be fair, Castle Hill did (according to Dribl) have only 7 wins, 2 draws, 7 losses, 0 byes and 0 forfeits. When I went to school that was 7 x 3 = 21 Plus 2 x 1 = 2 So, 23 points. But they made the finals thanks to 26 points somehow. 23 points puts them 6th and I actually feel sorry for the Rams who should have nabbed 4th spot just ahead of Baulko on for and against. I actually saw first hand the Rams have two 1-0 losses to Winsto in awesome games played in great sprit. They deserved a spot in the 4. North Rocks played under strength and the 1pm games hurt them with player availability apparently - so maybe they could go 4’s next year. The rest (Winsto, Glenhaven x 2, Kolts, Rams and Baulko) should stay in the 3’s - it was a great season where pretty much everyone was competitive and could win on the day… Next season might be a bit different - no combined comp with NWSF. So Kolts and CHU come back to Hills and you would imagine the top 6 from div 2 will make up an 8 team Div 1 (pending any other nominations). Bottom three from div 2 and top five from div 3 will then make up a div 2 and so on.

I reckon you are on the money macduff.
The only slight difference will be there is likely to be two teams from this season’s O35/1 Comp who are likely to step up to O45/1 next season.

Correct me if I’m wrong.. was there a Norths Rocks team and a Winsto team that dropped out of division 1 at the start of the season? Will these teams be in addition next season, or have they been absorbed into other teams?

The remaining players were absorbed into other teams at various clubs. Not sure of plans for next season.

Rather weird that some think having 7 wins out of 16 matches with 7 losses and two draws is somehow an indicator of being in the wrong division. Two of the seven wins were forfeits by KV and Rams as they could not muster a team together. Most teams in this comp can win on their day as has been seen all season! Not sure how winning with a poor 43% success rate equals being out of the correct division. Seriously! Mind you the 7 losses were not in div 3 some losses carried over from div 2.

And allow a team to qualify over others. Absolutely ridiculous.

As some teams had a bye before the division went to 8 teams they also were allocated 3 points. Find it funny that they were running 6th and at that time there was the 6 team finals series. Once it was announced that the finals would be 4 teams they started to win every game including beating the top three teams in the final games of the seasons to qualify for the finals. I know theaxe and CHUGAR.....sour grapes and all that, I'm just into conspiracy theories

I could be wrong as there are a few saying otherwise The Axe has spoken for the last time this year - enjoy the break everyone

TheAxe.....well done on winning your comp & well done on displaying maturity that all players in an O/45 comp should have.

Amazing OAKE yet again you jump to CHU rescue, but yet when other people have been clearly identified in past posts you have done nothing. You know exactly what I’m talking about. Be fair and consistent or don’t bother pieandmash it seems to me that you have an issue with CHU and it also seems to me that you have had many comments deleted due to poor form on your part. The CHU team won the Grand Final but were flogged in their first few games take a look at it and be honest with yourself. People my think sinister stuff but I doubt that grown men would do anything untoward to win a dal worth $5 each. Teams get regraded every year so don't go on about it like it is something new to be regraded that team were not the first and will not be the last. Suggest you get your facts right first! Chin up old boy!!! That's The Spirit!!!

The fact that the same CHU team was dropped to a lower division a few years ago -even when finishing higher than other teams, seems to show something happening that other teams can't explain.

Both original 45/3’s teams. The Rams are entitled to be filthy.

Look at the full table online. CHU were given 3 points in the Adj. column when they came down. This is at the discretion of the association.
