Kolts 1 North Rocks 0. Good clean game. Rocks guys a good bunch to play against. So much better than playing some of those guys from Glenhaven last week

Given that a number of teams have had issues with Glenhaven, can an official referee please be allocated to all games involving the Glenhaven 35/3 team for the rest of the season please.

I agree with Just a thought, referees should firstly be allocated to games with known troublemakers / badly behaved teams. We have played a couple of teams where we could have easily not had an official because both the teams were pretty reasonable for most of the game, but you need an official referee and 2 ARs for teams like Glenhaven and Hills Spirit.

Hills Knights Red have only conceded the fewest goals because they haven't played Winsto Red yet.

At it again I see Leftie. So at best you have played Glenhaven and Hills Spirit once each but you're happy to keep banging on like you know the ins and outs of every match. We've come up against a few aggressive guys in various teams but it's a contact sport and there is a referee to sort that out. Anyway keep up the good work and don't let the truth get in the way of a good story. If you throw enough mud some will stick I guess.

Well it isn't just leftie saying it, it appears a number of different teams have had similar experiences. And as for the comment allowing the referee sort it out, well all fine and well but when you guys don't agree with the referee call you refuse to accept the call and keep playing like it never occurred. And then you want to dispute the final result. So what is it going to be? Let the referee call the game and accept the results?

Let's just take this in context, there are people here whining about other teams that whine too much or are a little aggressive. I'll reserve judgement on Glenhaven but having played Hills Spirit in a pretty physical game, there was no issue at all. Some banter between players, some tough challenges but nothing to get even remotely excited about. Just enjoy the games, if there are any d!ckheads in the comp, let the referees take care of it. Good luck to all this week

I must be fair, Hills Spirit while being overly physical and a few of them a bit too aggressive, they were still a lot better than Glenhaven.

A physical game is all good, great to play teams which enjoy playing the great game.. however when players go in for cheap shots behind the ref's back, do not accept the refs call or bring on players during the game than that is crap and everyone has a right to whine on an open forum like this.. there are some common themes in this forum and opinions on some of the teams, if people are getting upset or offended, this forum isn't for you...

A top of the table clash saw Knights Red up against Winsto Red. In a very tight match, played in good spirits, Knights Red won 2 - 1. Scores were nil all until about the 60 minute mark, with Knights Red going 1 up after having earlier missed a penalty. With about 7 - 8 minutes to go, Winsto Red equalised. Then miraculously 2 minutes later Knights Red scored the winner from scrappy play where the ball just kept bouncing around Winsto's goal. Great match, worthy of a top of the table clash. Would have made a great grand final. By the way, the Ref was excellent.
