CHRSL 2 Winsto Blue 2
Another draw and another opportunity lost. We were the better team and they hardly got over half way in the 2nd half. Both their goals where early and first one was offside by 3 yards. Can't blame the ref or AR for the result, we had plenty of chances to own the game and just fell over at the last hurdle. #35 for CHRSL needs a lesson in football and people skills, shame because the rest of them are a nice bunch.

Hi CHRSL,
Any updates on your Keepers injury? Hopefully his Wrist is not broken, and we wish him speedy recovery.

He now has an excuse not to play goalkeeper. He can run around the field instead. Only kidding. I hope he has a quick recovery.

Hey shadow, what happened in your game against Glenhaven, the score on compman says 'score in dispute'.. sounds interesting!! Newhill - all i can recommend is that you have an official ref when you play them as they don't accept the calls from anyone with a whistle

Any chance of disciplinary action?

Can the association please allocate referees to games involving the "troublemakers" please. Some teams have a history of causing problems. I won't name them right now, even though I would like to. While most teams have one or two narky players, generally things don't get too out of hand, but I have played against teams where most players are a problem and these teams need to be stamped out.

Just a thought, if you won't name them, then I will. So far it looks like Glenhaven and Hills Spirit are probably the biggest concerns. I would be interested in other people opinions. I agree that while most teams have some stupid players overall most teams aren't that bad.

I believe we should be all playing in the spirit of the sport.. i have enjoyed playing against most teams both last year and this year and have enjoyed some cold refreshments afterwards with them - obeying the alcohol policy However when refs are not allocated and we agree to play the whistle and then calls are not accepted, well that is another matter.

The Forum is not the best avenue to try and resolve disciplinary matters. I suggest any grievances should be directed to the secretary of your respective clubs who can then relay the details on to the association. I agree that serious disciplinary issues should not be tolerated & should be addressed immediately rather than later. Do not leave your quest for justice too long after the incident.
