RSl 4 Winston Hills blue 3
We really should have won by a few more after giving away a couple of really scrappy goals in the first half. Winston Hills good fellas with not a drama all game. maybe we might get our full team together at some stage as really struggled for numbers so far this year.
Cheers

Per the other bloke Baulko 2 Knights 2, either team could have won it (or lost it probably). Both teams had a penalty waved away that I have seen given plenty of times in my time.
Game played in good spirits, geez its nice playing without all the rubbish from years gone by.
Big shout out to the official ref, what a nice bloke he was. Legend.

Winsto Red and CHU played out a 3-3 draw. Could have gone either way but in the end probably a fair result on balance. Ref did a good job, considering he was doing us all a favour. Looking forward to our double header this coming weekend!!!!

Understand that a second CHRSL will be joining us from 35/1s - no other changes to DIV 2 comp.
So no more bye.

i think it might go the following after reviewing the form guide: Castle Hill Utd v CHRSL Rockets Blue 2-2 mid table and draw in the local derby Norwest v Glenhaven - 0-3 Glenhaven to continue their winning ways and look to promotion into Div 1 next season CHRSL Rockets Red v Winston Hills Blue 2-1 now placed in lower division may show what they are really capable of Hills Knights v Rouse Hill Rams 3-1 will be too good for Rams Winston Hills Red v Baulkham Hills 2 -3 will be close but kookas to get over the line in a close one Winston Hills Red v Hills Knights 1-4 may not have enough in the tank against a strong running knights who have avoided promotion
Have a good weekend boys!

Winsto Red 2 - Baulko 1. Tough, very close game that could have gone either way. We had the better of the first half and led 1-0 at the break. Baulko came out in the second with renewed energy and dominated for periods. A easy miss from yours truly at one end and Baulko scored straight after to level. We managed to combat continued pressure and regrouped to get another goal and hang on for full time. A couple of penalty shouts for each side that may have been even on a different day. Full credit to our player who put his hand up to ref after the appointed ref failed to show - had to make a few tough calls but was fair all around. Legs not too bad this morning so will be going around again.

Winsto Red 3 - Hills Knights 2. Another tough game with an opening own goal after less than a minute for us. We went in 2-0 up but Knights came back but we held on to secure a valuable 6 points for the weekend. Thanks to the lads who filled in for us.

CHU 0 vs CHRSL Red 1 had a ref (which was organised by one of the boys to show) as we were supposed to have nothing United didnt deserve to lose (didnt deserve to win either BTW with the amount of possession). So much for the "gentlemans agreement" discussed at the start of the match. RSL player headed out for a goal kick, Ref didnt see who did it so not his fault, and while waiting for the player to own up to it and our requests for the player to own up to it, pointed to a corner; then the same player scored from the subsequent corner. Hard to take, and yes should have been dealt with by our defence, but will be prepared for this sort of behaviour next round.

Keeper you have got to be kidding haven't you. 2 blokes went up for the header and no one could tell who got the last touch and the ref called corner straight away. it did touch our striker yes but looked like it could have taken a deflection from one of your backs. the ref was no more than 10 metres away so we went with his call.
you guys had plenty of chances to score but either blasted over the top or no where near the goals so to blame that 1 corner for your loss is sour grapes my friend.

We clearly said that we missed alot of chances and based on that we absolutely did not deserve to win. We also said that the ref didnt see it - how could he? He was in the correct refereeing position he was meant to be for a corner and the ball is headed away from him. He was waiting for your player to say something which he didnt, that was all Anyway, now we know what is discussed at the start does not really count for much as far as some members of your team is concerned, and we look forward to round 2
