Just curious if there will be a full round of forfeits this week given the dead rubbers being played....and the precedent adopted by teams this year???

Here is a motion scheduled for the next CGM that is sure to bring a big smile to all the chronologically challenged players in the Association. Makes sense to me, particularly for the O/45's. Any thoughts ? Hills Football Inc General Club Meeting 19th August 2019 Motion – Kellyville United In line with other innovative associations I would like Hills Football to endorse and implement that both Over 35’s and over 45’s never be scheduled double headers. They should be scheduled for mid- week or off weekends as a risk mitigation factor under WHSE and to also prevent possible litigations should injuries such as “heart attack” etc. are minimised.

Castle hill blue 1 v better Kolts 6. A game played in excellent spirits against a team I suspect never got out of first gear. Score line maybe could have been closer bar a couple of howling keeper errors! Chu had a player sent off for persistent whining and rightly so but otherwise an enjoyable encounter.

The season has come to an end for Castle Hill United”s Blue team
I thought we put up a big challenge yesterday with the score 1-0 at half time and the Rocks players doing a lot of complaining with each other.
In the end it wasn’t to be.
We struggled with injuries and player numbers throughout the season as all teams do but had an enjoyable season playing with a good group.
Good luck in the finals and GF to the three teams that remain.

Cheers CHUGAR, game was played in good spirits and we did moan too much amongst ourselves but only because we knew we could play better than we were. Could see that you were tiring in the 2nd half but you stuck at it and defended well most of the game. Hope you can get more players for next season so we can all challenge the Kellyville teams.
Hopefully we can bring our A game against KVU tomorrow.

Div 1 Next Year
GHFA has approached HFI about the possibility of forming a joint Div 1 competition. Note this is early stages & nothing has been put on the table as to how it would be run ect ect.
For the purpose of a SENSIBLE debate, The competition would look something like this. Hills clubs working off this years results Kolts Blue, United, Nth Rocks, Hills Spirit Div 2 minor prems, Norwest Div 2 Grand champions,& from GHFA Epping Eastwood, Epping FC, All Saints, Nth Ryde, & hopefully 1more from either GHFA or Hils for a 10 team comp. All fixtures played on a Saturday at 3pm with a true home & away set of fixtures.
As for HFA next year with 5 teams moving to the joint competition our set up could look like this, Div 2 Caso Blue, Colt Red, Caso Red, Baulko Red, Coolong, Glenhaven, Baulko Blue, Winsto 35/3, + 2 new teams & Div 3 Knights, Glenhaven Red, Kolts, Norwest Blue, Glenhaven Blue, Winsto, Rouse Hill, + 1 new team for 8 team comp.
PS : if travelling is a problem HFA have offered to subsidise all Hills teams for travelling.
